Custard and Booze

Custard is one of my favorite things in the world. I love creme brule, flan, baverian cream,  creme anglais and anyother custard i've tried. i adore it. Today I decided to try to make Champagin custard cream. It was super easy which is the only reason i made it since i'm still ill. I was hoping it would be a nice filling for the cupcakes i'm planning to make when i'm well. But I think its to light and foamy. But it's really lovely with fresh berries. I used Asti and it has a really nice lovely delicate taste that contrasts nicely with the fresh strawberries I served it with.
